Our success and happiness are inextricably tied to our "way of being.” Our system of beliefs, mental models, and habits determine our way of being, and our emotional intelligence and social consciousness are the cornerstones of this system. Leaders and those they lead can experience anxiety, imposture syndrome, and burn-out- all unintended consequences of how we do the work (i.e., our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors). Leaders with strong social and emotional competencies are highly intentional and exude a way of being that compels, inspires, and motivates their stakeholders.

PEACEFUL: The workplace culture is communal and safe for all people; it promotes belonging and work-life harmony.

PERCEPTIVE: Astute awareness, insight, and intuition are leveraged in responsive and agile leadership practices during times of change or crisis.
